Find The Right Accommodation at Malolo Island Resort 

The right accommodation in Malolo Island Resort are as follows: 

Family Bure:  It allows 7 people to sleep together. The rooms are two in total and it has an area of 1076 sq m with a verandah of 20 sq m. There is complimentary wifi, a desk and a sitting area. You will find regular housekeeping, an umbrella and a hair dryer. 

Tadra Bure:  In the Fijian Language, Tadra indicates a dream. The daybeds are two in total, with four king beds. There are ceiling fans, a refrigerator and guests. You will get an ironing board, a hairdryer, an umbrella, and an electric supply of 240 volts. 

Deluxe Oceanview Bure:  50 sq m is the area of deluxe oceanview bures, and the verandah is 14 sq m. Two adults with 2 to 3 children can stay here. There are king-sized beds, complimentary wifi, refrigerator, beach towels, hair dryers, room safe, regular housekeeping, umbrellas, and an electric supply of 220 to 240 volts.  

Oceanview Bure:  The area of the bure is  33 sq ft with a verandah of 14 sq m. Two children, along with two adults, are allowed to stay here. Refrigerator, air conditioning, ceiling fans and double wardrobes are present. Umbrellas, daily housekeeping and an ironing board are available. Espresso coffee, a separate lounge and complimentary wifi can be seen here. 

Island Bure: The island bures are eight in total, with an area of 33 sq m each. The area of the verandah is 14 sq m. Two children with two adults can stay in the island bure. King-size beds, ceiling fans, complimentary wifi, double wardrobes, beach towels,a  room safe, turndown service in the evening, regular housekeeping, and other facilities are available. 

Investigating The Plants and Animals of Malolo Island Resort 

There are different types of plants like coral tree, beach gardenia, wild sandalwood, moluccan ironwood, Kou, Cibicibi, Yakata, Nokonisavu, Beach almond, coconut, borneo mahogany tree, etc. 

The various forms of animals in Malolo Island are juvenile iguana, fiji crested iguana, reef heron, Pacific blackduck, Pacific swallow, Fiji parrotfinch, Fiji woodswallow, etc.

There are mangrove species, which are 9 in total. The total number of coral species is 398. Reef fish are greater than 1200. Olive ridley, hawksbill and green are the different types of turtle. Dugongs and humpback whales are also present. 

Climate of Malolo Island Resort 

The climate of Fiji is tropical maritime. There are moderate to light winds. The temperature during the day is 30 to 32 degrees C. At night, the temperature goes down to 18 to 20 degrees C. 

Uncover The Dining Facility of Malolo Island Resort 

Tree Top:  The dinner takes place between 6 pm and 10 pm, and it is closed on Wednesday. Children above 13 years and adults can visit here. 

Some food items are local tomato salad, shaved pear salad, beef tartare, handmade fusilli, king prawn risotto, etc. 

Terrace:  The Terrace Restaurant has a seating capacity of 100 people. There are buffet dining and Pacific Rim a la carte. In breakfast, you will find pastries and fresh tropical fruits.  In the themed buffet dinners, you are going to find spicy curries and fresh sashimi. 

Beach Bar:  Beach Bar presents a menu for lunch, dinner and kids. It is open between 10 am and 10:30 pm. On the other hand, the happy hour is between 4:30 and 5:30 pm. Some foods in Beach Bar are classic Caesar salad, lemon & raspberry trifle, margarita, Yaro Village pizza etc. 

Bar:  You can enjoy the drinks of Malolo band and have sunset drinks. Happy hour pool bar is between 2 pm and 3 pm. Happy Hour Beach Bar is between 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm.

The wine list includes dessert wine, chardonnay, cabernet sauvignon, shiraz, merlot, sauvignon blanc, etc. The malolo cocktails include Malolo Sunrise, Gerry Surprise, Passionfruit Iced Tea, etc. 

The Activities of Malolo Island Resort 

The activities include snorkelling, fishing, surfing, walking trails, village trip, island hopping, sunset cruise, Mociu private island, wet weather program, Kava ceremony, and diving. 

Get Involved in Different Events of Malolo Island Resort 

The charge for treetops is $750.  There are themed events like Diwali, New Year, Chinese New year, etc. If you want to know the charges of the wedding, you have to send email to events@ahuraresorts.com. 

How to get The Island Transfers in Malolo Island Resort 

There are different ways of island transfers, and they are private speedboat, shared speedboat, fast catamaran, and private car. The catamaran transfers of South Sea cruises charge $152 for every adult and $99 for a child between 2 to 15 years. 

Water taxi or private speedboat transfer takes place, whose charge is $1219 in one direction. For four people, the shared water taxi charges $912 in one direction. 

Island Hoppers Helicopters charges $685 in one direction. The charge is $1570 on the return flight. 

Conclusion 

I am pleased to find different awards and recognitions for Malolo Island Resort. Among the different types of bure, the ocean view bure is the perfect one because I can see the ocean easily. I am really excited to share the plants and animals of the resort. 

Among the trees, I love the wild sandalwood and coral tree. Among the animals, I love the Pacific swallow and Fiji parrotfinch. I am really surprised to know that humpback whales and olive ridley turtles can be found here. It is good to know that Malolo Island has a tropical maritime climate, and I admire the windy weather. 

I love the different forms of dining like treetop, terrace, beach bar and bar. Among them, I love the treetop as it is really unique form of dining. It is great to know that New Year and Diwali are celebrated in Malolo Island Resort. It is essential to have a clear concept about island transfers and their charges in Fijian dollars.
